Joni Fusion Yoga

Joni’s students enjoy a balance and complete class with proper technique and format.  Yoga has added a new dimension to all her fitness instruction allowing your practice to be a refuge and a tool for responding creatively to change all the while emphasizing the enjoyment and enrichment of life through the benefit of yoga.  She believes that the “beginner’s mind” held by students new to yoga is a rich and powerful place wherein the body-mind-spirit connection can be developed.  Joni uses a unique blend of music and the natural intelligence of the body to help her students discover how the asanas (postures) and breath work can be suited to their own individual blueprint.  Her classes invigorate the body and relax the mind.

“Stress depletes the body’s energy and makes you more susceptible to illness.  It may sound cliché, but it is more important now than ever to find your inner peace and reward yourself by stilling your mind and body.  The result is a renewed outlook on life and an appreciation for all that is around you, “ Joni explains.

Joni has been one of Cleveland’s most popular and respected instructors.  She obtained her RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) by Jan Hauenstein, a nationally recognized Yoga Instructor and founder of TRY4Life Yoga Teacher Certification School  Certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America for the past 20 years, Joni’s classes are unique in that she blends many different styles of fitness and yoga and uses distinctive combinations of music to create a contagious level of energy.

Angela Huang NIA

As an energetic and positive individual a career as a fitness instructor was a natural path for Angela.  However, after 10 years of aerobics she began to feel that she was capable of obtaining more out of her workouts.  Feeling as though she had hit a wall with the physical body routine her conditioned eyes came across a poster advertising a Mind/Body/Spirit workout session with the founders of NIA, Carlos and Debbie Rosas.

After participating in one class Angela knew something truly amazing had taken place and could hardly put her shoes and socks back on because of the excitement to learn and share this technique. Totally blown away with the amount of physical and mental stimulation she had just felt she rushed to sign up for the soonest possible training session.

Angela has been a certified NIA Instructor since 1993 and is now a black belt and looks forward to sharing and celebrating you through movement. >

Anne Marie Wolfson

Anne Marie is a dynamic and creative Life Coach and Private Fitness Instructor who has successfully integrated her martial arts training into her practice.

Anne Marie prides herself for achieving and recognizing the value of bringing individuals and organizations into alignment through her one-on-one coaching skills whether it’s on the mat or in the office.  As a former CEO of a $5MM regional health care provider, she believes disciplined leaders who show compassion for people result in richer communication and a conscious development of talent.  This principal of martial arts is applied in her professional and family life.  She recognizes she rarely teaches her clients or students what they don’t already know; however, the difference is in guiding them on how to act upon and listen to their own intuitive gifts.

To help relieve the stresses of her professional career, Anne Marie began Taekwondo lessons at age 20, which included many years of vigorous training for seven days a week, up to two hours per day. She currently holds the esteemed black belt degree of 5th Dan from the Kukkiwon College, the World Taekwondo Headquarters located in Korea.  Highlights of her martial arts career include training in Colorado Springs, Colorado (2003) with members of the USAT Olympic Taekwondo Team.  She is presently a lifetime member of the USA Taekwondo Association and is a certified USAT Referee.

Part of Anne Marie’s cross training includes weight lifting, kick-boxing, dance, judo and hapkido.  In addition, Anne Marie has studied different forms of yoga, primarily Anusara and Iyengar for the last seven years.  She believes the combination of proven moves from many forms of exercise, such as martial arts, yoga, dance, isometric and weight training along with attention to nutrition and diet promotes continuous fat burning, muscle toning and a healthy lifestyle.

Anne Marie is honored to subsitute for Joni this Wednesday, November 18th.  She’ll be utilizing Joni’s music and following her routine...as she see’s it… “Joni’s class is a leading-edge fitness program that brings effective results, so why change it?”    Anne Marie promises to sweat, sculpt and stretch your body to total transformation, head to toe, inside and out.

All proceeds from Anne Marie’s class will be donated to The Littlest Heroes, a local non-profit organization in Northeast Ohio helping families and their children living with cancer.  For more information, please go to www.thelittlestheroes.com.
